Google has just rolled out the second Android 7.1.1 developer preview images for Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9 and Pixel C in line with earlier release rumours. The preview system images with build numbers NPF26F and NPF26H can now be manually downloaded and installed on the supported devices.

With over-the-air (OTA) build for the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update becoming seemingly elusive, avid Android fans could try testing out the developer preview image on one of the supported devices.

Meanwhile, the Google's timeline page depicting the release of developer previews suggests that the Nexus 6 and Nexus Player will soon join the beta testing program for the second preview. There is no system image released yet for the two Nexus devices, as they await the release of the final build of Android 7.1.1 update.

The only supported devices that are currently running Google' latest Nougat firmware with the last developer preview release includes the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9 and Pixel C. It is now confirmed that the final build of Android 7.1.1 would hit a spate of devices next month including the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Pixel C, General Mobile 4G (Android One), Pixel and Pixel XL.
