According to dramabeans, previously, PD Lee Tae-gon stated, "There are characters whose stories were completed in Season 1 and characters who still have more story left to tell, and in Ryu Hwa-young's case, her story is nearly over so it will be difficult to tell more of it in Season 2."

He also added saying, "There will probably be about one or two episodes in which she has storylines, but she won't have a story that continues on for all twelve episodes."

The second season of JTBC's Age of Youth is scheduled to premiere in August. The female-centric drama is to be following another female-centric drama, Woman of Dignity on Fridays and Saturdays after it ends its run.
