Drink three glasses of water before meals

This is the first and foremost tip which you should follow to reduce weight in quick time. Drinking three glasses of water before meals will give a feeling of fullness, and as a result, people will eat less during the meal time. Apart from weight loss, drinking water also helps to expel the toxins from the human body. It even improves the skin complexion, and will also boost the immune system.

According to a study conducted by Department of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise in Virginia, water consumption considerably reduced the meal intake among older adults and middle-aged people.

"When combined with a hypocaloric diet, consuming 500 ml water prior to each main meal leads to greater weight loss than a hypocaloric diet alone in middle-aged and older adults. This may be due in part to an acute reduction in meal energy intake following water ingestion," said the report.

Make Green Tea part of your diet

Green Tea is one of the ideal drinks for people who wish to lose their weight quickly. This bitter-tasting drink has unique fat oxidation ability which will speed up your weight loss campaign. Physical exercise helps to burn those extra calories from your body, thus preventing you from gaining weight. A matured individual should spend at least 60 minutes every day to do exercises. If you are not interested to do heavy physical training, then try 60 minutes of brisk walking for better results. Doing physical exercise also helps to improve cardiovascular health, and thus you can easily stay away from lifestyle diseases like high cholesterol levels and diabetes.

Get proper sleep

A recent study conducted by the researchers at the University of Leeds indicates the connection between proper sleep and weight management. As per the research, people who used to sleep six hours or less in the night had waists that were on average 3 cms larger than those who slept for more than 9 hours.

"Because we found that adults who reported sleeping less than their peers were more likely to be overweight or obese, our findings highlight the importance of getting enough sleep. How much sleep we need differs between people, but the current consensus is that seven to nine hours is best for most adults," said Dr Laura Hardie, senior investigator of this study, Telegraph reports.
