Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaves PSG; move to LA Galaxy on the cards

Ibrahimovic was instrumental in helping the side win as many as four French league titles.

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic said on Friday he would leave Paris Saint Germain at the end f the season.

Ibrahimovic, whose contract with PSG expires at the end of the season, has been linked with a possible move the LA Galaxy in the US.

During the four years he was with PSG, Ibrahimovic was instrumental in helping the side win as many as four French league titles.

"My last game tomorrow at Parc des Princes. I came like a king, left like a legend," the striker said on Twitter.

There has also been talk about Ibrahimovic moving to Manchester United, but Sky Italia said the odds of him joining the Galaxy was very high.

However, Galaxy President Chris Klein brushed aside reports that Ibrahimovic was joining the team on a free transfer, the Los Angeles Times reported.

"I would like to play in the U.S., absolutely, .. Which team? Am I allowed to say? No, I cannot say that," PSG's all-time top goal scorer had told Yahoo Sports earlier.
