YG Entertainment reveals second member of their upcoming girl band

Lisa Manoban joined YG Entertainment in 2011 as a trainee.

YG Entertainment has finally revealed the second member of their upcoming girl band. The agency previously announced that they will be introducing the girls in a unique format - one member every week, starting from 30 May.

Earlier, the company's spokesperson confirmed the very first member of the group, named Jennie Kim. While Kim has been a little-known name because of her appearance in G-Dragon's music video, That XX, the second member appears to be a new face in Korean entertainment industry.

YG Entertainment posted a series of pictures on its Twitter handle to introduce the newest addition to the group on 7 June. The post that read "NEW GIRL GROUP - MEMBER #2" showcases a Thailand beauty, Lisa Manoban. As per reports, the teenager is a trainee from Thailand, who is proficient in Thai, Korean, English, and Japanese language.

However, the agency did not reveal more specific details about the girl in question, but it is stated that the 19-year-old joined YG Entertainment in 2011 as a trainee, after topping the company's auditions in Thailand in 2010. Manoban has also been a part of a dance crew before, and houses extraordinary dancing skills, Soompi suggested.
