There have been strange reasons behind people falling in love with each other. The reason why actors Yeon Jung-hoon and Han Ga-in got together isn't as much strange as some of them but interesting on its own right.
As noted by website Soompi, actor Yeon Jung-hoon appeared as a guest on the July 16 episode of SBS's 'Mom's Diary - My Ugly Duckling.' Here he revealed a specific quality of his that had drawn his wife, actress Han Ga-in towards him.
"I made the first move," Yeon Jung-hoon began, adding, "I was willing to give it my all." He then proceeded to reveal how their getting together had something to do with speaking English. "She overheard me calling my cousin from the U.S., and she told me she thought I looked charming when I spoke in English on the phone," he said.
The 'East of Eden' actor said that he cannot recall much about their life as a couple before they tied the knot together and added, "After spending 10 years together, it feels more uncomfortable when she's not around." Yeon Jung-hoon's words show the depth of his love for Han Ga-in.
As noted by Allkpop in an article published on June 1, Yeon Jung-hoon had appeared as a guest on the May 31 episode of JTBC's 'Give Me a Meal' where he was asked by Lee Kyung-kyu to name three good things about Han Ga-in.
The former 'Top Gear Korea' host had said, "She is considerate, she is good to our parents, and she is a perfectionist when it comes to work. She was a good student in school, and still studies. She studies Chinese and English. She deserves praise for constantly trying to better herself."
When asked whether Han Ga-in had any disagreeable or disappointing aspects about her personality, Yeon Jung-hoon had replied, "She's too perfect. I wish she would be more leisurely."
The couple who got married on April 26, 2005, welcomed a baby girl on April 13, last year, Soompi noted. A photo uploaded by Yeon Jung-hoon on his personal Instagram account, captioned "daddy and daughter" can be seen below.
