Singer-actor Seo In Guk's official contract with Jellyfish Entertainment is coming to an end. So there is a widespread speculation on whether he will renew his contract or looking for other options. There is also an option to work as a free agent too.

Recently, Seo fractured his ankle just four days after his military enlistment. As a result, he was under treatment for few weeks. On April 27, the actor underwent a medical re-evaluation but was asked to wait for the further evaluation. Then, again on June 5, he underwent another round of examination at the Central Physical Examination Centre of Military Manpower Administration.

Unfortunately, the Reply 1997 star was diagnosed with Osteochondritis dissecans in his left ankle bone, which was listed under grade five health ranking that would exempt him from his military duties. Seo's agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, revealed the news through a press statement. The agency further denied issuing any detail on Seo's condition. They are likely to issue another statement in the coming week after finalising the actor's nature of the service.

Following his enlistment, Seo even gifted his fans with a self-composed track as a farewell treat for his fans. The track was listed on the first part of 'Tomorrow With You' OST titled "Flower." Seo launched his singing career after winning the talent reality show Superstar K in 2009 and made his acting breakthrough in tvN's Reply 1997. Seo's portrayal of a teenage boy in unrequited love with his childhood best friend won praise from both audiences and critics. Since then, he has starred in television series High School King of Savvy, 38 Revenue Collection Unit, and Shopaholic Louis.

Recently, actor Lee Min Ho was exempted from military duties due to his health injuries, which he sustained during two car accidents in 2006 ad 2011, He is currently serving as a public service worker in southern Seoul.
