Will Kate Middleton skip Pippa Middleton's wedding?

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews are planning to get married in 2017.

Kate Middleton may miss her sister, Pippa Middleton's wedding. It was recently revealed that Pippa is engaged to her boyfriend James Matthews.

Hello magazine's royal correspondent Judy Wade feels it is best that the Duchess of Cambridge skips Pippa's nuptials. She told People: "Kate would upstage her sister. It's a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?

"But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible," Wade added.

Meanwhile, Pippa is extremely happy over her engagement to Matthews. A source told E! News: "They've always had sizzling chemistry. He's now 40 and ready to settle down. She's over the moon as she definitely didn't expect an engagement so soon! While there is talk the wedding could be next year, Pippa has always been keen that her own nuptials are very different to her sister's."
