Padmavati's latest song, Ek Dil Ek Jaan, featuring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor has finally released and it's breathtaking. After Ghoomar that garnered over 25 million views, the makers of the film 'Padmavati' have launched this song, which encapsulates the romance between the two characters, Rani Padmavati and Maharawal Ratan Singh.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is the director of the film, has himself composed the song titled 'Ek Dil Ek Jaan' and it has been sung by Shivam Pathak, with lyrics by A M Turaz. The song will treat the audience with a soulful melody that reflects loyalty and an unbreakable bond of love in true sense.

The video of the song is exquisitely regal, exactly like every other stunning visual of Padmavati that have been seen so far. Apart from the music, the sets, costumes and the props that have been used in this song deserve much applause. It can be easily said that the fans will not be disappointed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as this is exactly the spectacle which is expected from the ace director.

This is the first time when Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor have been paired opposite each other on-screen and it's needless to say the subtle yet warm chemistry between the new pair will surely melt the viewers heart.

"Shahid and I have known each other for so many years but a special film like Padmavati brought us together on-screen. His contribution to this film is irreplaceable and amazing. It was so important to have a very good actor, with a strong screen presence and massive popularity to add to this film. Shahid Kapoor brought that with him," Deepika Padukone said about Shahid Kapoor.

When asked about the film, the 31-years-old actress said: "I can't remember the last time I was so nervous. I think it is the function of the fact that this one is completely different from any of my previous roles. My role is not from the heart or head, it's from the gut."

Meanwhile, the film has been facing a lot of controversies and the former royals of Jaipur have joined the opposition to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film. Many have been demanding the film to be banned as well. The film Padmavati is all set to release on December 1.
