Watch Kim Jong Kook blind date as Running Man enters final phase

Popular variety show "Running Man" is almost in its final chapter and it will be having special weekly challenges for each of the cast members. Reportedly, the special challenges will be starting with Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook and they will be the very first members of the show to complete their unique tasks.

The remaining few episodes of "Running Man" will focus on each cast member and SBS, through its social networking services, made the revelation that for the upcoming episodes, the format will feature special individual challenges that are to be completed by the cast members, known as the "Member's Week" race.

Reports say Song will be the first cast member to participate in the said special challenge and then Kim. According to the reports, SBS showrunners informed Sports Chosun that the upcoming "Member's Week" episode will be featuring a blind date. The blind date is set to happen on board a Han River ferry boat, Yibada reported.

Kim and a non-celebrity female will have a blind date and according to the show's representative, as reported by Yibada, the young lady that the singer will be meeting is a successful and very beautiful woman and would a quite a real blind date event for Kim.

Cast members of the show will have to finish the tasks assigned to them by the production team. In Kim's upcoming challenge other cast members will also be supporting him. And, as far as Song is concerned the "This Week, My Wife is Having an Affair" star already completed the shoot of "Member's Week" challenge episode on Jan 2. However, of her tasks/challenges were not disclosed.

Fans can watch the special Song and Kim "Running Man" episodes on SBS which will be airing on Jan. 8 and Jan. 15, respectively.
