#MeToo Activist Asia Argento Pays Accuser $380k To Settle Sexual Assault Claim

Italian actress Asia Argento, who was one of the first women to speak out against Harvey Weinstein and became a leading figure in the #MeToo movement, reportedly reached an out of court settlement earlier this year with actor Jimmy Bennett, who had accused her of sexual assault according to documents seen by the New York Times. Ms. Argento will pay Bennett $380,000.
