Jose Mourinho did not have a happy return to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea crushed Manchester United 4-0 in their Premier League clash on Sunday.

After playing out a positive 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield on 17 October, a game in which the Red Devils' defensive unit looked compact and dictated the game, United's performance against the Blues was underwhelming to say the least.

Pedro scored for the home side as early as in the first minute of the game after which they never looked back. Three more goals poured in as United kept making defensive errors much to the delight of the fans at the Bridge.

As N'Golo Kante scored the fourth one with 20 minutes remaining in the clock, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte tried to fire up the crowd, which Mourinho reportedly said was a gesture to humiliate him in front of his former fans.

Nevertheless, it was a night to forget for the Portuguese tactician as nothing went his side's way. He rued his side's defensive mistakes that gifted Chelsea three points.

While Mourinho's men are stationed at seventh on the points table, the Blues are closing in on the gap at the top and have climbed to the fourth spot with 19 points. IBTimes Singapore has compiled some of the best Twitter reactions after Chelsea thumped United.
