Travis Scott's friends are unhappy with his relationship with Kylie Jenner. The Pick Up the Phone hitmaker's close ones think the reality star could hinder his career.

Rumours that the two are dating started after the 19-year-old model was spotted getting close with Travis Scott at Coachella 2017. A source told Hollywood Life: "Many of Travis' friends in rap are warning him that a relationship with Kylie, or any of the Kardashians for that matter, is career suicide and a big L when it comes to street cred."

"Those girls are trouble and they're only out for fame. Travis is on the come up and needs to solely be focused on his career and music, not Kylie," the insider added.

The source continued: "His boys don't want him to be like Tyga who's a has been rapper who's only famous and in the news because he dated Kylie. Travis has huge potential and is on the brink of being one of the greats in hip hop and Kylie's a huge distraction and quite possibly a career-ending girlfriend."

Meanwhile, Tyga and Jenner had been dating since 2014 when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was still a minor. The duo made their relationship official in February 2015. Jenner and Tyga had briefly broken up in April, however, they reunited later.

At that time, Tyga admitted that he felt "overshadowed" in his relationship with Jenner. He said: "When you're in a very public relationship like that, it's hard for other people to see you differently than that. Being in that, it took a lot, career-wise, everything. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things that I worked hard for."
