Overview

Tottenham Hotspur's hope of qualifying for the next stage of the Champions League were crushed when they failed to beat AS Monaco in the last fixture. That leaves them with four points after five matches.

The north London club re third in the table with four points, three points behind Bayer Leverkusen. Even if they manage to seal a win, their failure to beat the Bundesliga outfit will force them to finish in third place.

Monaco will finish the group on top with 11 points, while CSKA are at the bottom with three points. The clash between Tottenham and CSKA Moscow will see these two teams battling for the Europa League spot.

The winner of the clash will make it to the second tier of European club football, while the losing team will be out of the European competition. However, a draw will allow the English side make it to the Europa League.
