Overview

New Zealand are in fine form in this tournament and are the favourites to make it to the semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup after their victories over India and Australia. In the last fixture, they beat their arch-rivals comfortably to take the top spot in Group 2.

One more victory and they are likely to go through as they are yet to face Pakistan and Bangladesh. The clash against the latter should not be a tough one, especially considering their form.

Shahid Afridi's suffered a defeat at the hands of India in the last fixture at Eden Gardens. Pakistan failed yet again to beat their neighbours in a World Cup fixture and they will be looking to bounce back when they face New Zealand on Tuesday.
