A 54-year-old man was arrested for allegedly beheading his 52-year-old mentally ill sister with a kitchen knife outside their home in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Reports said the decapitation had apparently been triggered by a quarrel between the two siblings. The incident happened after the sister refused to go for her medical appointment.

According to Shanghaiist, the horrified neighbours screamed as they witnessed the horrific scene unfolding before their eyes. Within some time, the woman's severed head was lying on the pavement.

An eyewitness also told Stomp that how the victim begged for her life by going down on her knees.

Reports said that Lin had been caring for his mentally ill sister for years. Both of them were unmarried and lived together.
