On 24 August, a news report in Ilgan Sports surfaced online where Ha Kyun has been quoted as saying that he is still single. The story is said to be published a week before dating news went viral. When asked about his current relationship status, the actor who once dated actress Bae Doona relayed: "Currently, I am not dating anyone. I personally don't like the word 'something'. If you like someone, then you do, and if not then you don't. I am not sure of this whole 'something' thing."
Meanwhile, on 23 August, both of the celebrities' agency confirmed the love compliance between the two. HODU&U Entertainment, home to both the stars revealed that the duo know each other since two months. They stated, according to Allkpop: "They're just starting to get to know each other.
