Girls' Generation Seohyun is to play the lead role in a new drama named "Bad Thief, Good Thief" (working title) and lot of criticism followed after she was chosen as one of the main character. Recently, the singer turned actress gave her honest thoughts about all the criticisms she received.

According to Soompi, on May 12, during a press conference, the 25-year old singer revealed how she felt about the new project and also addressed the criticisms saying, "I actually think there has to be criticism. I haven't filmed many works as an actress, so I understand that there may be concerns. It's completely reasonable."

The 50-episode drama is about thieves who cause damage to a small, elite group who manipulates South Korea secretly. The drama also stars, Ji Hyun-Woo as Jang Dol-Mok, Kim Ji-Hoon as Han Joon-Hee, Lim Ju-Eun as Yoon Hwa-Young. Also, Ahn Kil- Kang, Choi Jong-Hwan, Kim Jung-Tae, Shin Eun-Jung and Jang Gwang

The star also continued by saying, "I believe I will just have to show my sincerity as an actress as I become Kang So Ju [in 'Bad Thief, Good Thief]. I feel more responsible because of it. I will work hard as Kang So Ju, so please watch us with love."

"Bad Thief, Good Thief" is to take over the MBC Saturdays & Sundays 22:00 time slot, which was previously occupied by "Father, I'll Take Care of You."

"Bad Thief, Good Thief" is all set to air its first episode on May 13 at 10 p.m. KST.
