The Galaxy S6 phones have just been confirmed to receive the official Android 8.0 Oreo update soon. Speaking to a customer, Samsung customer support representatives said the two-year-old is indeed getting Oreo.

Owners of Samsung's 2015 flagship smartphones have been left in the dark in the past few months after the South Korean tech titan's announcement for eligible phones and tablets for the Oreo update months ago did not include Galaxy S6.
