Reply 1988 actor Ryu Joon Yeol was quite nervous before engaging in a kiss scene with his love interest played by Hwang Jung Eum. Both the actors are currently seen together in MBC drama Lucky Romance.

During his surprise interactive session at 'V' app live streaming on Thursday, the 29-year-old revealed that he was actually worried about the kissing scene before the shoot. "I was nervous about the kiss scenes, but Hwang Jung Eum took the lead for me," the actor said.

"She has a lot of experience with filming, so she knows well how to take care of the other male lead. I filmed it with such gratitude," he shyly added.

When asked about depicting some of the similarities between him and his character Je Su Ho, the actor stated that he is fairly different from what he portrays on screen. The actor affirmed that he is not superstitious at all when it comes to real life. "I'm the type who does something the more you tell me not to. If I'm told I can't write a name in red ink, I purposely write it in red pen," he added.

Lucky Romance is a rom-com drama that revolves around a luck obsessed woman, who, in order to maximize her fortune keeps trying some uniquely weird stuff. Joon Yeol is playing a penny pinching land lord, who always ends up fighting with Jung Eum over the rent matters.

Lucky Romance airs every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.
