Police arrested several people who gathered at an unauthorized rally against corruption in Vladivostok, on 12 June, the national holiday of Russia. Opposition leader Alexei Navalny urged people to take to the streets in several cities to demonstrate, but it has been reported he was arrested en route to the Moscow protest.
