The popularity of BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, seems to be soaring high. A report on AllKPop states that BTS has topped the popularity list for singers for the month of December. BTS was at the top of the December data for all singers, followed by TWICE and EXO, according to the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation. In the previous month, the Kpop band only posted a score of 12,699,613 points, an increase of 25.52 percent.

The second place went to TWICE with a total of 13,818,852 points, which is 8.08 percent less than their December ratings of 15,033,325 points. EXO came in at third place with 13,605,851 points, a 19.30 percent increase from last month's 11,404,725 points," Soompi reported citing Korean Business Research Institute.

The seven-member boy band was formed by Big Hit Entertainment and made their debut in June 2013 with the song "No More Dream" from their album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. Their debut album won several awards including the 2013 MelOn Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards, and the 2014 Seoul Music Awards. "Most Beautiful Moment in Life trilogy" is their most popular album till date. It comprises of Rap Monster, J-Hope, Suga, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and V. To date, BTS's discography has sold an estimated 2.7 million albums worldwide. They were also named as the most retweeted artist on Twitter in March 2016 by Forbes. Their next album is due on February 13.

Seventeen, IOI, Black Pink, Red Velvet, Big Bang, MAMAMOO, Lim Chang Jung, VIXX, Taeyeon, Zico, INFINITE, IU, BTOB, Sechskies, Bolppalgan4, BewhY, Heize, G-Friend, Lovelyz, Han Dong Geun, Sung Si Kyung, and Park Hyo Shin are the others on the list.
