Park Yoochun sexual assault case: No hiatus on singer's upcoming movie

Park Yoochun's agency is planning to counter-sue all the four victims on blackmailing charges.

Park Yoochun's upcoming movie Lucid Dream will not be halted until the final verdict is out on the singer's ongoing sexual assault case. The makers of the movie, starring Go Soo, Kang Hye Jung, and the former TVXQ member, revealed that regardless of the singer's high profile case, the production work for the movie is running on a normal pace, and the outcome will be ready by the end of the year. Apparently, the team wrapped up the shoot schedule in July 2015.

Explaining the whole scenario, the representative told Allkpop: "We have nothing to say regarding Park Yoochun. We're in a situation where we can't refer to anything until official reports from the police. 'Lucid Dream' is currently working in the last stages of production, regardless of Yoochun's case."

"It is set to premiere sometime in the latter half of 2016, but no date has been confirmed," the insider added.

Lucid Dream is a mystery thriller movie, where the 30-year-old singer/actor has been cast to play the role of a mysterious figure which supports the protagonist, portrayed by Soo. The fantasy-thriller movie showcases the restless mind of a man who lost his son three years ago and confuses his dreams to reality.

Meanwhile, in the recent development on Yoochun's sexual assault case, the singer's agency is planning to countersue all the four victims on blackmailing charges.
