South Korean actress Park Shin Hye has revealed how it was to work with veteran actors like Choi Min Sik and upcoming juniors like EXO's D.O. The 27-year-old actress shared her thoughts recently when she did a photoshoot for Marie Claire magazine.

In the accompanying interview, the actress revealed she decides that she wants to do a particular role by going through the character. According to Soompi, she said, "I am drawn to characters that have qualities that I don't have; the ones that I want to be like. And, although this is very biased, I also choose characters that I feel are really needed in the world. I don't always mean to play characters with a strong and sometimes overpowering moral compass, but, in retrospect, I realize I played a lot of these types of roles."

As actors often say that they take a long time to get out of character, the actress was asked if she feels empty too, after a project ends. Park Shin Hye responded, "There are times when it's really hard to get out of character. I've definitely had these experiences."

The actress' recent project Silence (tentative title), reportedly wrapped up filming in February which is a remake of the popular 2013 Chinese film Silent Witness. The film tells the story of a powerful and influential businessman's fiancée who is murdered and his daughter is the prime murder suspect. Park Shin Hye plays the role of a strong-willed lawyer who would anyhow try to figure out the truth behind the case.

In the project Choi Min Sik plays the role of the businessman and while talking about it the actress revealed how she felt to work with such a senior actor.

"It was truthfully an honor in itself to be able to act face to face with Choi Min Sik. I was really nervous, but his encouragement became a huge strength to me," she said.

She added, "[Choi Min Sik] is such a cheerful and fun person [on set], so I throughly enjoyed myself during filming."

She also talked about EXO's D.O, with whom she acted alongside in My Annoying Brother. She said, "To me, Do Kyung Soo (D.O.'s real name) is an actor. It was actually more fascinating to see him sing onstage."

She even added that although she was the senior, she was very motivated by such an "admirable person."

"He works really hard when he acts. When we were filming our movie, he had a lot of overseas events. Seeing him become completely immersed in our production even with such a busy schedule made me reflect on myself," Park Shin Hye said while praising him.
