Park Hae Jin's Four Sons will not be aired on SBS: Reports

The pre-filmed drama is a mystery thriller that revolves around a female detective who discovers the quadruple brothers of the man she loved.

Park Hae Jin is all set to appear as quadruplet brothers in his upcoming drama tentatively titled Four Sons. Reportedly, the filming is scheduled to begin by November and was supposed to be aired on SBS in the first half of 2018. However, now it looks like the drama is unlikely to be aired on SBS. A representative from SBS told Pop Herald that the channel has backed out from the schedule.

The pre-filmed drama is a mystery thriller that revolves around a female detective who discovers the quadruple brothers of the man she loved. The drama will also have After School's Nana and Kwak Si Yang in important roles. Kawk will appear as the protective guardian of the female lead.

After Man-to-Man, this is Hae Jin's second pre-filmed drama and when asked about his thoughts, he said, "When I work on pre-filmed projects, I feel like I have more time to study and discuss my character with production staff. Plus, the script is finished when we are filming and more time can be put into editing. Filming a drama in real time is far more exhausting since we sometimes film for days with very little sleep; however, we also receive immediate feedback about the drama, which is a plus."

Park Hae Jin was recently honoured with the 2017 Metropolitan Seoul Mayor's Award for Community Service recently for his philanthropic activities. The actor was in on the headlines last week for donating 10 million KRW (~$8865 USD) in association with his Chinese fan club 'Sea Breeze' to fight against child poverty. The campaign is organised by China's Fund Management Committee and QQ public portal site.
