Strong Woman Do Bong-soon actress Park Bo Young will play the lead role in 2018 rom-com My Wedding. Actor Kim Young Kwang is the male lead. The film depicts the timeline of a 10-year old love affair between Jeong Yeon (Kim Young-kwang) and Cho Seung Hee (Park Bo Young). My Wedding will also explore the difficulties faced by two people who fall in love during their teenage and grows together as adults.

With the massive success of Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, Bo Young is already on her pinnacle and a light-hearted rom-com is likely to add more colour to her career. In an interview to Pop Herald, the actress said, "The story is unique and it will portray me in a different manner. I will do my best to give the best outcome." The film is expected to hit the screens in 2018.

Bo Young recently underwent an ankle surgery after she hurt her leg during the shoot. The actress was seen wearing a band-aid around her ankle during the recently held Hallyu Drama Award where she won the best actress award for her role in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Fans were worried after seeing the tapes around her ankle and the news went viral. Soon, her agency announced that the actress is recovering well post surgery. Bo Young's agency told a TV channel that her pain is completely gone and there is nothing to worry about. "Over 90 percent of her ankle is healed. She is dedicated to the final stages of her rehabilitation treatment, as her condition permits. It is not something to worry too much about. Thank you for sending us your concerns and interest," the agency added.
