OnePlus 5 is teased a new as three new renders have surfaced on Saturday. The forthcoming OnePlus smartphone is seen sporting an indigo build and diamond-textured back panel design.

Vertical dual camera

Another colour variant of OnePlus 5 will soon be shipped if the new renders released are to be believed. In the said renders, a camera on top of another camera can be seen with a standard LED flash below them. Android Headlines suspect that the fingerprint scanner of the device is embedded in the home button since no such feature is noticeable on the rear panel, a trend that has been pioneered by Samsung with its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

On the right side of the OnePlus 5 are the volume and power buttons, a design already worn by its predecessors. Although it is still uncertain, many speculate that the lower sides of the phone could be the speakers because of their speaker-like texture. If not, the design is still good to provide users a better grip of the device.

On its front display, the top bezel reveals the conventional design of a selfie camera, light sensor, and an ear speaker. The screen is said to have the usual 16:9 aspect ratio. All of these designs have been corroborative to previous rumours.

OnePlus 5 specs

As of now, OnePlus 5 was already confirmed to include the Snapdragon 835, Qualcomm's first 10nm system-on-chip. This supports a 4K UHD resolution but it remains unknown whether the mobile phone manufacturer will also upgrade the screen from full HD.

According to previous rumours, OnePlus 5 might ship with a minimum 8GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB. However, it might not feature a microSD card slot. The phone is scheduled for release in June for around US$650.
