With a few specification details exposed, the Nokia 9 is expected to be a good challenger to Samsung's promising Galaxy S9.

HMD Global is reported to introduce the next-generation Nokia 9 in 2018, and initial details seem to attest that the Nokia-line owner is keeping a surprise in the bag. The Nokia 8 has earned both critics and consumers' nod, so the upcoming smartphone is expected to be a game-changer.

Although there has been no official confirmation yet whether or not HMD Global is pushing out another smartphone release in the year to come, rumours are firm that the Nokia 9 will be launched in the US first.
