Namgoong Min's new drama Manipulate releases character poster

The drama revolves around the dangerous journey of journalists who try to expose the corruption in the political system.

SBS has released the character poster of Namgoong Min's upcoming drama Manipulate. The drama also stars Uhm Ji-won, Yoo Jun-sang, Jeon Hye-bin and Moon Sung-keun in key roles. Manipulate will be premiered on SBS on July 24, 2017, and will be aired every Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 (KST).

The drama revolves around the dangerous journey of journalists who try to expose the corruption in the political system. Namgoong will play the role of a rookie journalist Han Moo-young. He is a troublemaker who witnesses his reporter brother dying while trying to report on a big corruption scandal. A representative from the production stated to All Kpop, "Han Moo Young is a vigorous character full of passion in bringing the latest exclusive reports, in addition to his confident personality. Nam Goong Min will be showing off both his funny and serious sides in this new drama."

Actress Uhm Ji Won looks will appear as the bold prosecutor Kwon So Ra while Yoo Jun-sang is the villainous Lee Seok-min, the chairman of the newspaper company.

Namgoong is fresh from the success of Chief Kim aka Good Manager. The drama won the hearts of k-fans for its cool bromance, gripping story line and sizzling chemistry. Chief Kim is a light-hearted comedy entertainer, which fans described as a stress buster. A perfect office drama, Chief Kim also featured few real life scenarios at the Korean workplace.
