Myolie Wu discusses racy roles, family planning on return from honeymoon

Honk Kong actress and singer Myolie Wu is finally back in the industry after her grand wedding to businessman Philip Lee in December and a three-month honeymoon tour.

The 36-year-old is happy to be back and feels pumped up to dig in to work again. "I think I went on holiday for too long and I definitely need to dive into work again. I've been busy in April, but I'm happy as long as I have work to do," the actress shared in an exclusive interview with Toggle.

Myolie Wu, who was in Singapore city as a presenter for Star Awards 2016 last week, asserted that although she has returned to work she won't take too much stress over specific goals or targets.

She added that she has been trying varied roles in the movies and is satisfied with the work she has done lately.

Meanwhile, giving insights into her new married life, the Love of Shanghai actress asserted that she has become busier and more accountable after marriage.

"I have one more identity (Mrs. Philip Lee) now and it isn't something to be taken lightly. I have to take responsibility and think on his behalf as well. In the past, it was just me and so I've gotten busier after marriage."

"Even before marriage, I didn't have a tendency to take on racier roles – that's not my image. So there won't really be a difference between the roles I accept now that I've gotten married," the actress affirmed.

On asked about her family planning, and when the actress wishes to make a baby, Wu stated: "I haven't thought about it in detail – we'll just do our best and leave it up to fate. We won't stress out over this matter."
