One of the biggest events on the K-pop calendar, the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016 will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. The award ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. KST, however, celebrities will arrive on the red carpet at 6 p.m. KST.

Fans of the show are in for a treat as EXO, BTS, TWICE, SNSD's Taeyeon, BeWhy, Shinee's Taemin, GOT7, Monsta X, I.O.I., NCT, Red Velvet, AOMG, FT Island, SEVENTEEN, Block B's Zico and GFriend are set to perform at the annual ceremony. Adding on, Wiz Khalifa will also perform during the event, and Moon Hee-joon, Z.Hera and Shin Ah-yeong will be hosts for the extravagant night.
During a press conference held at the CJ E&M Center, director Kang Hee Jung said: "Wiz Khalifa is a singer who topped the Billboard Singles Hot 100 Chart with his song 'Black and Yellow.' He is well-known in Korea for his song 'See You Again,' which was part of the original soundtrack of the 'Fast and Furious franchise."
She added: "Wiz Khalifa is a recognized hip-hop icon, and he's going to be collaborating with a K-pop artist for a special performance."
