Miss Universe 2017: All you need to know about the pageant

The 66th Miss Universe pageant is all set to be held on November 26 at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. Contestants from 93 countries and territories have participated in this year's beauty pageant, surpassing the previous record of 89 contestants in 2011 and 2012. Manuela Bruntraeger will be representing Singapore at the international beauty competition.

This is the sixth time when Vegas will be hosting the yearly beauty pageant event that will witness Miss Universe 2016 winner France's Iris Mittenaere crown her successor. The three-hour special programming event will be aired live on FOX in the United States, starting 7 PM ET.

Miss Universe 2017 will also see the return of Steve Harvey as a host for the third time. The judges panel for the preliminary competition includes Morgan Deane, Isabelle Lindblom, Cecilio Asuncion, Bill Pereira, Megan Olivi, Wendy Fitzwilliam.
