The weekend drama of MBC, Bad Thief, Good Thief's sixth episode of the drama recorded a viewership rating of 11.7 percent. It crossed its previous best ratings of 9.4 percent for its fourth episode by 2.3 percent, Soompi reported.

In the latest episode, the two main characters are seen to grown up into high school students. Therefore the actors Ji Hyun Woo and Girls' Generation's Seohyun finally made their first appearances in the drama playing the role of Jang Dol Mok and Kang So Ju respectively.

Though, before the drama started it gathered a lot of criticisms when it was announced that Girls' Generation's Seohyun has been chosen as one of the main characters. Current ratings say otherwise.

In fact, the singer turned actress gave her honest thoughts about all the criticisms she received on May 12, during a press conference. The 25-year old singer revealed how she felt about the new project and also addressed the criticisms saying, "I actually think there has to be criticism. I haven't filmed many works as an actress, so I understand that there may be concerns. It's completely reasonable."

Currently, the drama "Bad Thief, Good Thief" is highly praised for its realistic portrayal of the different lives led by a pro-Japanese occupation group member's descendent and a descendent of a liberation activist.

The 50-episode drama is about thieves who cause damage to a small, elite group who manipulates South Korea secretly. The drama also stars, Ji Hyun-Woo as Jang Dol-Mok, Kim Ji-Hoon as Han Joon-Hee, Lim Ju-Eun as Yoon Hwa-Young. Also, Ahn Kil- Kang, Choi Jong-Hwan, Kim Jung-Tae, Shin Eun-Jung and Jang Gwang.

Bad Thief, Good Thief airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m. KST.
