Maroon 5 calls off concert over Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo's baby

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo will welcome baby girl on 20 September.

Maroon 5 has cancelled another concert on their North American tour as Adam Levine's wife, Namibian model Behati Prinsloo is due to give birth. The 37-year-old singer had to cancel the band's show in Hartford, Connecticut.

On 3 September, Levine announced that the band has rescheduled seven shows on their Maroon V Tour on his Facebook page. He wrote: "Due to the upcoming birth of my child, we've had to move around 7 dates... We're very sorry for the inconvenience and I look forward to seeing you all very soon."

In April, the 27-year-old Victoria's Secret model and the lead singer of American pop rock band had confirmed that they are expecting their first child together. Prinsloo and the Sugar hitmaker started dating in June 2012, and announced their engagement in July 2013. In July 2014, the couple tied the knot at Flora Farms in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

In August 2014, during a KIIS FM radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, Levine revealed he is eager to start a family. He said: "We're definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible."

Adding on, Prinsloo had also opened up about her desire to have children with Levine, during an interview with The Lowdown with Diana Madison. She said: "I've always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family... I'm an only child so I wanted like 10 kids... for sure."

Prinsloo also revealed how the two make time for each other. She said: "Just not overthinking it. We call each other every night and we FaceTime... that's such a huge thing, I think that's helped everyone in the world."
