Overview

Manchester United's first leg clash against Anderlecht ended in 1-1 draw in Belgium. Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the scoring in the first half and his strike was cancelled by a late header from Leander Dendoncker.

Jose Mourinho saw his side register a 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the last league clash. The Red Devils manager will be hopeful his side can seal a victory over the Belgium outfit in the second leg on Thursday.

Anderlecht enter this tie after registering a narrow 1-0 victory over KV Oostende in the last tie. They have a chance of making it to the last four of the Europa League clash, if they manage to seal a victory over United.

However, their record in England is not impressive and even a goalless draw will mean United will progress to the semi-final of the competition. Anderlecht will have to find a way to beat the Red Devils' defence in the second leg.
