Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye to be part of ABC's The Good Doctor?

The Heirs co-stars Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye were recently named as top Korean actors in South Korea, according to an international survey. According to the United States-based fans of the Korean Wave who participated in a survey conducted by the Korea Creative Content Agency as cited by The Strait Times, almost 4,700 fans voted Lee and Park as their favourite South Korean stars.

Fans are now hoping for the reunion of the Heirs couple. Though, the season 2 of Heirs will reportedly not happen, fans seem to feel that the stars can take a bigger leap and pursue a Hollywood career.

As mentioned by Yibada, the best way to do it is by including them in the cast of the upcoming ABC new medical drama series, The Good Doctor, which is a remake of a South Korean medical drama of the same name.

According to the reports, The Good Doctor is to premiere on ABC this year. It will be produced by House creator David Shore and Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim.

The script of the upcoming ABC drama is written by Shore and Seth Gordon will be directing the same. According to TV Line, the lead role is to be played by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor Freddie Highmore. He will be playing Dr. Shaun Murphy, the medical savant suffering with autism.

Grey's Anatomy alum Irene Keng and CSI New York alum Hill Harper is also set join the upcoming series. The characters of the three mentioned actors work at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas and Chuku Mudu will also be taking part in the upcoming ABC medical drama series.
