Lee Min Ho's film Bounty Hunters will premiere this year.

South Korean actor/singer Lee Min Ho has opened up about his plans on military enlistment. The City Hunter star revealed he will not be joining military service anytime soon.

During an interview with Chinese news outlet Sina Entertainment, Min Ho said: "I heard that a fan shaved her hair as a sign that she would wait for me during the years as a soldier."

"I was really touched by her meaningful actions. But unfortunately there are no specific details or plans regarding my enlistment yet. Her hair might have grown back by then," he added.

Min Ho has a huge fan base in many Asian countries, including China, Hong Kong and Thailand. He is known for his roles in television drama Boys Over Flowers, popular movie Gangnam Blues and music video My Everything. His upcoming movie Bounty Hunters, which also includes Wallace Chung, Tiffany Tang and Karena Ng, will premiere this year.

"As an actor, what I'm thankful for the most is the ability to bring strength to people, and to become a source of energy in people's lives. I want to share the love and support I've gotten from [all my fans] with more projects and activities," he said.
