MBC's 'The Emperor: Owner of the Mask,' or as it is called literally, 'Ruler: Master of the Mask,' aired its final episode on July 13 with 14.4 percent ratings across all South Korea, as per AGB Nielsen Korea. It had an average reception with viewers. Actress Kim So-hyun, who played Han Ga-eun, has now opened up on working with lead actor Yoo Seung-ho.

As noted by website Soompi, 'Goblin: The Lonely and Great God' actress Kim So-hyun sat down for an interview where she talked about her co-star Yoo Seung-ho and how the actor helped her during the production of the MBC drama, their kiss scene and having a good rapport with each other.

"Since we both acted together when we were younger as child actors, we have a lot of the same thoughts and concerns, which has allowed us to have many meaningful conversations," So-hyun said, adding, "Just the fact that someone like Yoo Seung-ho exists is a great source of strength for me. I also received a lot of help from him while filming since he's very good at really carrying whatever project he's working on."

As noted by Soompi, in a V Live broadcast last June, Yoo Seung-ho and Kim So-hyun had already called each other their ideal types. Yoo Seung-ho had said, "My ideal type is Kim So Hyun."

Hearing this, the 18-year old actress said, "A lot of my fans want me to date Yoo Seung Ho after I become a legal adult. My ideal type is also Yoo Seung Ho."

As for their kiss scene, it was Yoo Seung-ho who made her relaxed and comfortable before filming the scene. "It's super awkward if you think that it will be awkward so I tried my hardest to channel my character's emotions [while filming the kiss scene]. Plus, Yoo Seung Ho helped create an atmosphere in which I felt the most comfortable [for the kiss scene]," Kim So-hyun recalled.

In the V Live broadcast mentioned above, Kim So-hyun had said, "[The kiss] wasn't awkward at all. I feel like Yoo Seung Ho and I are very in sync when we act."

To this, Yoo Seung-ho had jokingly added, "She did really well" and that he'd like to work with her again, "but on a drama set in present day."

Kim So-hyun was also asked whether she finds Yoo Seung-ho swoon-worthy. She replied, "Don't almost all females swoon because of him?" adding further, "While acting for the drama, there are many moments in which he comes off as very cool so I definitely have swooned; however, since we are both actors, we just have a comfortable, friendly relationship."
