US reality TV star Kim Kardashian revealed how she hid her second pregnancy during the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala 2015 in Manhattan, New York. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who was accompanied by husband Kanye West on the red carpet, wore a backless Roberto Cavalli white gown with fringe at the bottom.

The 36-year-old reality star took to her website KimKardashianWest.com and wrote: "For the 2015 Met Gala, I wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown by Peter Dundas. It was the first dress Peter designed for Roberto Cavalli. I was two months pregnant with Saint at the time, so I was trying to hide it."

"My inspiration for the dress came from Cher's look at the first-ever Met Gala. It was surreal to meet her later that night," she added.

At that time, Kardashian was accused of copying Beyonce's old Met Gala outfit. Twitter users were quick to notice Kardashian's white lace dress' striking similarities to Beyonce's 2012 Met Gala gown, which was designed by Givenchy.

However, Kardashian revealed that her outfit was inspired by Cher. She wrote on her Instagram: "Tonight's inspiration! Cher at the 1st ever Met Gala! I just met her and told her this photo was my inspiration for my dress tonight! She is so beautiful! So happy I met her!"

The mother-of-two had recently come under scanner after taking to Twitter to say that she has dropped 6 pounds due to the flu. She wrote: "The flu can be an amazing diet. So happy it came in time for the Met lol #6lbsdown."

However, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians deleted the post after she received a lot of criticisms for it.
