Kidoh defends his 'rape song', says it portrays BDSM love

Kidoh is the former band member of boy group Topp Dogg.

South Korean singer/ rapper Kidoh has issue a clarification on his recently released song, Roll. The 23-year-old, who incepted the number with fellow rapper Iron, is receiving hatred from public pertaining to the disgraceful lyrics. The wordings of the song reportedly points towards 'raping a girl', which apparently heated up the controversy.

In response to the criticism, Kidon uploaded a series of tweets on his social media in order to defy the lyrics. He stated that the 'rape' word in lyrics is particularly to showcase a relationship between BDSM lovers: " I'm sorry for people who was offended by my lyrics. The time I had offer for the featuring on Irons song called Roll, he asked me to write lyrics about a twisted BDSM love, " reported Allkpop.

Kidoh further explained: " If it's a relationship between BDSM lover, and a woman is demanding to rape her, nobody is forcing another person to have sexual intercourse with the offender against their will that situation so I Interpret that situation as relationship between BDSM and not as a rape." The singer also defended Iron, and apologized for hurting fan's sentiments.

However, the singer also urged to not to listen to the song, and un-follow him if the fans or public do not like him. He said: "I was never intended to write about rape, I'm also against the rape and I didn't rape nobody. That's the fact. Song is a Song. If you don't like me please un-follow me and ignore me and use your time to hate on something else."

Meanwhile, the former Topp Dogg member has deleted all his explanation tweets. No trace of apology letter can be found on the social media website. However, the singer is still promoting his upcoming single, Rock Bottom.
