The actor will have a low key enlistment sans flashes and cheer.

Actor Kang Ha Neul has withdrawn himself from the casting of Bad Guys 2 to begin his mandatory military service. So that makes it another heartbreak for fans after Lee Min Ho, Im Si Wan and Ji Chang Wook (who is beginning his service on August 14). Kang's agency Sem Company has confirmed that the 27-year old actor will begin his service from September 11.

The agency also added that Kang will serve as the military police and will be involved in escorting key members of the military. The actor will have a low key enlistment sans flashes and cheer. The actor was scheduled to begin the shoot of OCN's crime-thriller drama Bad Guys 2.

Kang is currently concentrating on his film Midnight Runner. He will also take part in the promotional activities of the film alongside main actor Park Seo Joon. The film will hit the screens in August. The story revolves around two Korean National Police University students Ki-joon (Park Seo-joon) and the nerdy Hee-yeol (Kang Ha Neul) who witness a kidnapping and goes behind the criminals.

Kang recently appeared in the historical drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo where he played the role of Wang Wook, 8th Prince. Some of Kang's notable roles include Thrill Me, Prince Puzzle, Black Mary Poppins, Heirs, Twenty, Misaeng, and Assassins.
