Popular South Korean boy group MONSTA X has taken the first position on SBS MTV 'The Show'.

Monsta X was nominated for the first place along with EXID and Block B. The Boy band eventually took the trophy with their latest track "DRAMARAMA" on November 14.

This was the group's first ever music show win since their debut in 2015.

The members of the boy band were overjoyed at their achievement and broke down struggling to speak through their tears during their acceptance speech.

"Earlier, we were so surprised and caught off-guard that we couldn't say anything. But thank you so much," said group leader Shownu.

He later pleaded the other members also to speak as he got too emotional on the stage. However, the other members also couldn't say much because of the sentimental situation.

One of the members Wonho, fortunately, managed to say, "Thank you so much for giving us the chance to experience what it's like to win first place. We're so grateful".

Another member Jooheon thanked Monbebes (MONTA X fandom) appreciating their support and encouragement to the band. He also stated that their fans give them energy inspiring them to work harder in their music and promotions.

Presently the hashtag #MonstaX1stWin is trending on Twitter in celebration of the boy band's first win after two years.
