Actor Ji Chang Wook has already confirmed that he would be enlisting his long-pending military service on August 14. He will begin his basic training at the Cheorwon County of Gangwon Province. Wook has been working non-stop over the years and military would give him the required time to regulate his lifestyle and recharge the energy levels.

In a recent V Chat interview, Wook had a heartfelt conversation about his military enlistment, recent drama Suspicious Partner and much more. "I feel bittersweet about finishing the drama. I feel kind of wistful about it because it was so much fun shooting it, and thankful at the same time for having successfully finished it. Credit goes to you, my fans," he said as translated by Korea Herald.

When quipped about his thoughts on the military enlistment, he said, "I know it's kind of late for me to begin mandatory military service, but I will do my best there no matter what," he said, expressing his honest thoughts about the nearing future. I don't know how my days in the military will be, because I've never done it. I'm worried, but excited at the same time." He also thanked his fans for the support and love over the years.

The K2 star will be holding a special concert as a farewell gift to his fans. Interestingly, the concert will also celebrate 10 years of Ji Chang Wook in the industry. Titled 'Jiscovery - A Film by Ji Chang Wook,' this will be his 10th concert and will take place on July 22 at 7 pm KST at the Olympic Hall in Seoul. A source from the actor's camp revealed that Wook is planning to meet his fans and give them an unforgettable experience.
