International Tiger Day is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation. The day is held annually on 29 July.

The day was created in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. On International Tiger Day 2016, IBTimes Singapore has hand picked some famous tiger quotes to mark the day.
