Im Yoona outclasses Descendents heartthrob Song Joong Ki in China popularity

Yoona is one of the highest paid actors in the industry and charges 3 billion Korean won for her Chinese drama

The popularity of Girls' Generation member Im Yoona is soaring past all records in the Chinese entertainment industry.

The actress recently defeated the boyish-looking hunk from the hit series 'Descendents of the Sun', Song Joong Ki, in the Chinese popularity graph released by Chinese entertainment data analysis and consulting company Vlinkage.

The 25-year-old is being highly applauded for her lead role as Zhao Yun, on Hunan TV's God Of War.

Looking at the admiration all over, the singer-actress is being showered with many offers from production companies.

"We have received 30 different love calls from Chinese movie/drama production companies for the appearance of YoonA in their projects" and "we will carefully look through each project and decide on her next role accordingly, " a representative from Yoona's official agency, S.M Entertainment said.

As per the reports swirling around, the Love Rain actress is also one of the highest paid actors in the industry and charges 3 billion KRW (~$2,660,310) for her Chinese drama .

"YoonA is worth about 3 billion won per drama. It can vary depending on the production, but it was reported that recently a total of 3 billion won was requested. It is a big number, but it is a reasonable with her being in Girls' Generation, and having various drama experiences in Korea." a chinese drama associate told allkpop.

Justifying the amount of attention Yoona receives, the associate further added: "Now China doesn't simply consider only the popularity of the Korean celebrity. The star's personality, private life, and professionalism is all taken into account, and with that in consideration, YoonA's worth has to be high."

The singer turned actress is considered to be one of the most hardworking professionals in the industry. As per Wiki, while her selection in SM Saturday Open Casting Audition, Yoona spent five years "doing nothing but constant training" in singing, dancing and acting.
