GTA 5 Online: Five highly-anticipated gameplay features for Cunning Stunts DLC

YouTuber MrBossFTW reveals five highly-anticipated gameplay features for a perfect Cunning Stunts DLC in GTA Online.

Rockstar Games has remained silent about the gameplay details concerning the Cunning Stunts DLC update even as the GTA community speculates on what could be the best features that make Cunning Stunts DLC nearly perfect. Meanwhile, renowned YouTuber MrBossFTW (aka Ross) has revealed the five highly-anticipated features that will elevate the GTA Online gameplay experience to the next level with the Cunning Stunts update.

A new Stunting shop in GTA Online

As Ross points out in his latest gameplay video for GTA Online, one of his top priorities includes the ability to access a new Stunting shop in GTA Online with the Cunning Stunts update.

It would be a great idea if Rockstar could launch a new Stunting shop in the game wherein one could specifically customize vehicle upgrades for stunting jobs or missions as was the case with Benny's Motors that arrived with the launch of Lowriders update in GTA 5.

Rockstar suggests in its latest announcement on Newswire that the Cunning Stunts DLC will introduce a slew of Stunt vehicles and upgrades. However, it is still unclear if the Cunning Stunt vehicles will be added as a bunch of ready-made stuff for the job or if one has to upgrade existing vehicles with stunting-performance-style modifications via Los Santos Customs or a slew of other body-shops spread across the vast expanse of the city.

Improve match-making criteria across all races

As the veterans of GTA community admit, it's always been an arduous task to keep the same crew connected throughout the duration of an entire playlist, especially if it featured multiple races that often sound boring after some time due to lack of dynamic replay value as well as technical hitches or server snags mid-way through the course.

Consequently, the advent of Cunning Stunts DLC will demand better equipped servers for superior connectivity and performance through the course of an entire playlist as well as better balanced match-making capabilities with support for up to 18 players in a single lobby.

New team or organizational style races

It would be a cool idea to enable organisational style races wherein members of the same organisation could take part in custom stunt races for identifying new talent as well as developing extreme driving-skills among the associate members or bodyguards in a CEO organisation.

The best part of team-based racing is that it allows you to co-ordinate with your team members while taking out the rival racers as you slip-stream one behind the other to maintain the lead or completely block the way for your rivals with co-ordinated drifting across the check points.

Furthermore, you could be winning races based on the team's final score after adding up individual scores across each team. So, that would bring a new dimension to racing challenges between rival crews and organisations in GTA Online.

Cut-Stunting Arena

If you have already checked out the leaked screenshots of the interiors of Maze Bank arena or dirt-bike tracks in the game then you would have a fair idea about the loops and ramps, which are likely to be part of the Cunning Stunts update.

The San Andreas Flight School could undoubtedly be the benchmark standard for designing the racing arena or the Cut-Stunting arena in GTA Online. The looping flight jobs still stand out as a great example of epic stunt jobs in the GTA series.

Retro-style stunting bonuses and rewards in free mode

Finally, it would be amazing to get bonus RP and rewards every time you flip your car in the air or let it free-fall from mid-air and get rewarded for the air-time as well as number of flips done before hitting the ground.

For instance, Rockstar could allocate a five-minute job in free mode for a stunting-bonus-spree across select locations in Los Santos and Blaine County to encourage stunt masters to display their extra-ordinary skills.

With Cunning Stunts DLC being one of the most awaited future DLCs in the game, the time is ripe for speculating what could be the game-changing features associated with insane stunts in GTA Online. If you have any other ideas to share with us, please leave them in the comments section below.
