While the wait for the popular TV series Game of Thrones is still not over, the makers of the series are all set to surprise the fan with a bonus 'after-show' episode.

Pronounced as one of the most action packed seasons of all, the sixth leg of the series will see its comeback on 24 April, followed by the companion show on Monday. The makers have roped in high-profile podcaster Bill Simmons to produce 'After the Throne', while Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan, the famous duo behind the Watch The Thrones podcast, will play the hosts.

Announcing the big THRONE news, author-screenwriter Andy Greenwald took to his Twitter account to express his excitement.

After the first episode of 'After the Throne', which is set to debut on April 25, follow-up episodes will be released every Monday. According to IGN, "Each new installment will provide a recap of the latest episode, as well as "absurd and not-so-absurd theories" about what's to come."

Meanwhile, the new after show will only be available on HBO Now, HBO Go and HBO On-Demand, but according to reports floating around, the post-show episode will most likely be made part of HBO's main channel program in the future.
