Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot has welcomed her second child with husband, Yaron Versano. The 31-year-old, who is well known for playing Wonder Woman in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has given birth to a baby girl.
Gadot posted a black-and-white image of her, Versano and their daughter Alma on Instagram to share the baby news. She captioned the image: "And then we were four... She is here, Maya. I feel so complete blessed and thankful for all the Wonders in my life #family #newborn #grateful"
Gadot and Versano tied the knot in 2008. The couple welcomed their daughter, Alma, in 2011.
In April, Gadot had talked about her responsibilities as a mother. She told Hello!: "I was thinking about whether I should wait to have children when my acting career was more settled, but then I thought that if you're more successful, you're working even more, so that wouldn't be the best time either."
"I'm very happy being a mother and as soon as you begin raising your child, you feel this incredible love and happiness that is different from anything else you've ever experienced," she added.
During an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Gadot talked about her daughter's reaction to Wonder Woman. She said: "Alma came to visit me many times on set, and one time, I was wearing the Wonder Woman costume, and then she asked me, 'Mummy, if you wear a tiara does that mean you're a queen and then I'm a princess?' And then I said, 'Well, I'm playing dress up, Alma. This is dress up.'"
