Overview

France are one of the favourites to win the Euro 2016 and as a host nation, they are in pole position to make it to the semi-final of the tournament. They face Iceland in the quarter-final clash on Sunday.

In the previous fixture, Didier Deschamps' side came from behind to beat Hungary 2-1 in the Round of 16 clash. It was Atletico Madrid's forward Antoine Griezmann was the star player for France as his two goals helped his side make it to the last eight.

Iceland, on the other hand, made it to the quarters after eliminating England out of the European championship. They beat the Three Lions 2-1 in the Round of 16 fixture and so far are unbeaten in the tournament.
