Former 4Minutes member Jeon Jiyoon to make a solo comeback with new label

Jeon Jiyoon will be releasing a new song mid-October

After the disbandment of South Korean girl group, 4Minute, the members are now gearing up their career track by going solo. While, band member, Hyuna has already tasted success by releasing a solo mini album last month, Jiyoon will be trying her luck in coming months.

As per reports, the 25-year-old singer-rapper has signed a new label, JS E&M, for her comeback. On 8 August, the agency revealed that they will be putting all their effort to re-launch the songstress. "Jiyoon has unlimited potential. We have created a special producing team for Jiyoon to actively support her from music to acting and also on variety shows," JS E&M shared.

Dishing out details of Jiyoon's comeback album, the agency revealed: "She will be releasing a new song mid-October. It will be a song encompassing her skills in dance, vocals, and rap from her 7 years with 4minute. The single will kick off her official solo career. The form of the single album has yet to be confirmed; however, we will give unlimited support for her to freely express her potential as a singer."

Meanwhile, Cube Entertainment disbanded the South Korean girl group, 4Minute on 16 June. The girl group, which debuted in 2009, reportedly parted ways due to a conflict in member's futuristic opinions.
